Dr Hannah Cross

Dr Hannah Cross is a Melbourne trained and based forensic psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Psychiatry (RANZCP). Prior to undertaking her medical studies, Dr Cross completed a Bachelor of Laws, a practicing certificate with the College of Law, and was admitted to practice law in 2013. 

Following the completion of her medical studies, Dr Cross completed her speciality psychiatric training at Alfred Health and Forensicare. She completed her Masters of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne and her Certificate of Forensic Mental Health at Swinburne University whilst undertaking her basic and advanced forensic training in psychiatry. 

Dr Cross has worked within the public sector throughout her training. This has included placements within area mental health services, forensic inpatient units, forensic community services, and working within prisons. 

Dr Cross has experience completing a range of forensic reports and has given expert evidence in court on a range of matters. Some of these have included mental impairment, fitness to stand trial, responding to requests from the Adult Parole Board, and formulating pre-sentencing issues.
